SG Landscape Delivery has partnered with Newsom Seed - A Mid-Atlantic seed company supplying grass seed and landscaping supplies to the wholesale trade. Newsom Seed is one of the largest seed blending facilities on the East Coast and is the seed supplier to Central Sod Farm, Inc. in Centreville, MD. The equipment used is state of the art, cleaning and mixing seed to the highest quality available.

100% Tall Fescue - We use three varieties of tall fescue in this very popular mix. The tall fescues tolerate heat & drought, and can tolerate a fair amount of shade. All the varieties are improved varieties, locally adapted with narrow blades and from the Maryland/Virginia recommended List - TT-77. Sow new lawns at 7-8 lbs. per 1000 sf. and overseed at 3 lbs. per 1000 sf.

Newsom Shade Mix
35% Creeping Red Fescue, 30% Chewings Fescue, 20% Hard Fescue, 15% Perennial Ryegrass - Shade is always a hard place to grow grass. To improve the chances of success, our mixture contains four species. 85% is comprised of three "fine" fescues, all of which tolerate low levels of light and dry soil. Sow new lawns at 4-5 lbs. per 1000 sf. and overseed at 1-2 lbs. per 1000 sf.

RENTAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Definitions –The Following definitions are used, but not otherwise defined in this Agreement: “Equipment” means 2022 Landzie Lawn & Garden Spreaders - 36 Inch
Use of Equipment – Spreader rentals are for personal, residential use only. Spreader rentals cannot be sub-rented or leased to any other individuals not authorized per the signed rental agreement. Spreader rentals cannot be transported outside the RENTER’s provided neighborhood once delivered. Use the Equipment carefully and for its intended purpose. Comply with all manufacturer safety and use requirements/recommendations labeled on the machine.
Warranties – The Equipment will be in good working order and good condition upon delivery. The Equipment is of merchantable quality and is fit for the purpose it is ordinarily used.
1. The LESSOR/OWNER will, at the LESSOR/OWNER’s own expense and risk, deliver the Equipment to the RENTER at provided residential address.
2. The RENTER shall keep and maintain the rented equipment during the terms of the rental at his own cost and expense. He shall keep the equipment in a good state of repair, normal wear and tear excepted.
3. The RENTER shall pay the LESSOR/OWNER full compensation for replacement and/or repair of any equipment which is not returned because it is lost or stolen or any equipment which is damaged and in need of repair to put it into the same condition it was in at the time of rental, normal wear and tear excepted. The LESSOR/OWNER’s invoice for replacement or repair is conclusive as to the amount RENTER shall pay for repair or replacement.
4. The RENTER shall not remove the equipment from the address of the RENTER, or the location shown herein as the place of use of the equipment without prior written approval of the LESSOR/OWNER.
The RENTER shall inform the LESSOR/OWNER upon demand of the exact location of the equipment while it is in the RENTER’s possession.
5. No allowance will be made for any rented equipment or portion thereof which is claimed not to have been used. Acceptance of returned equipment by LESSOR/OWNER does not constitute a waiver of any of the rights LESSOR/OWNER has under the rental agreement.
6. The RENTER shall allow LESSOR/OWNER to enter RENTER’s property where the rented equipment is stored or used at all reasonable times to locate and inspect the state and condition of the rented equipment. If the RENTER is in default of any of the terms and conditions of this agreement, the LESSOR/OWNER, and his agents, at the RENTER’s risk, cost and expense, may at any time enter the RENTER’s property where the rented equipment is stored or used at all times and recover the rented equipment.
7. The RENTER shall not pledge or encumber the rented equipment in any way. The LESSOR/OWNER may terminate this agreement immediately upon the failure of RENTER to make rental payment when due.
8. RENTER will indemnify and hold harmless the LESSOR/OWNER against any and all claims, actions, suits, proceedings, costs, expenses, damages and liabilities, including attorney’s fees and costs, arising out of or related to the RENTER’s use of the Equipment.
9. The RENTER shall pay all reasonable attorney and other fees, the expenses and costs incurred by LESSOR/OWNER in protection of its rights under this rental agreement and for any action taken LESSOR/OWNER to collect any amounts due the LESSOR/OWNER under this rental agreement.
It is the intention of the Parties to this Agreement that this Agreement and the performance under this Agreement, and all suits and special proceedings under this Agreement, be construed in accordance with and governed, to the exclusion of the law or any other forum, by the laws of the State of Maryland (the “State”), without regard to the jurisdiction in which any action or special proceeding may be instituted.
These terms are accepted by the RENTER upon delivery of the terms to the RENTER or the agent or another representative of RENTER.
