Soil
Garden Soil – $43 per cubic yard
A mix of soil and compost (light and fluffy). Mix garden soil in with your native dirt to improve it. Its organic components break down over time, to enrich and improve the native dirt it's mixed with. Use it for planting flowers, bushes, trees and even fruits and vegetables in your garden and enhancing your lawn.
Compost Leafgro® – $40 per cubic yard
An organic compost designed to help improve the quality of your soil. It's made up of composted leaves and grass clippings and it enhances the filtering properties through the soil. Can be used to increase drainage and should be added as a soil conditioner and enhancer when planting trees, shrubs and grass.
Screened Topsoil – $20 per cubic yard
Standard topsoil mix, native to this area. Topsoil is a good choice for filling the base layer of raised beds, repairing eroded spots, filling in holes and for fine grading and leveling. When planting a new lawn or overseeding a patchy lawn, you can use a thin layer of topsoil to protect grass seeds as they sprout. Recommended to add garden soil or organic compost for best results when planting. *One thing you shouldn't use topsoil for is filling your containers with it completely. It won't drain properly in a container, and it makes your pots very heavy.
ORGRO® High Organic Compost – $46 per cubic yard
NOT FOR USE ON CONSUMABLE PLANTS OR VEGETABLES. ORGRO compost conditions the soil with increased organic matter, enabling increased water and nutrient retention for vigorous plant growth and is suitable for a variety of beneficial uses. ORGRO products are created by composting a mixture of Exceptional Quality biosolids, wood chips, sawdust and carbon ash. Each ORGRO product is environmentally safe when used as directed below and meets the highest level of State and Federal biosolids quality standards. A finely screened and uniform texture, high organic compost, ideally suited for use as a soil amendment, top dressing for turf and ornamentals or potting mix component.
Unscreened Topsoil – $17 per cubic yard
Standard topsoil mix, native to this area (not screened). Topsoil is a good choice for filling up raised beds, repairing eroded spots, filling in holes and for fine grading and leveling. When planting a new lawn or overseeding a patchy lawn, you can use a thin layer of topsoil to protect grass seeds as they sprout. Recommended to add garden soil or organic compost for best results when planting. One thing you shouldn't use topsoil for is filling your containers. It won't drain properly in a container, and it makes your pots very heavy.
Unscreened Fill Dirt – $15 per cubic yard
Although Fill Dirt is mainly used for larger construction projects, it can have great uses in landscape projects as well. Some ideal projects are: raising planting beds, leveling off land, building up the ground around foundations to fix water drainage problems, and securing ground around retaining walls. Good for filling deep voids in the ground, but may consist of clay and rubble. NOT recommended to use near surface of the ground.
Stone and Gravel
¾” Natural Gravel – $45 per scoop/ton
Typically used for drainage, driveways, and planter beds.
¾” #57 Gray/Blue Driveway Stone – $33 per scoop/ton
One of the most commonly used types of crushed stone due to its versatility. Ideal for a variety of projects. Used as aggregate in concrete and also works well as a base for sidewalks, asphalt roads, and driveways.
Crusher Run (CR6) – $29 per scoop/ton
Common base stone for shed pads, foundations, driveway base, hardscaping, etc.
Crushed Concrete (RC6) – $28 per scoop/ton
The RC6 is more fine and contains dust which allows it to be compacted. It can best be compared to the CR6 product, but is less expensive. Recycled concrete aggregate has many uses, but is most often used as a sub-base layer and construction road material.
Asphalt Millings – $24 per scoop/ton
Recycled bits from old asphalt after it is taken up and then ground into gravel. The millings are used by spreading them on a road surface or driveway and then compacted. They are also used as a base for later paving with hot mix asphalt or tar and chip.
Concrete Sand – $25 per scoop/ton
Often used as pipe bedding or a paver base, and its size and texture make it ideal for holding pipes, septic tanks, and stones in place while providing adequate drainage. Concrete sand can also be used to level out uneven ground, increase traction on icy roads, or act as a topdressing for golf courses and lawns. Has angular granules and packs very well. It does contain some pebbles. This is the recommended sand for use under pavers.
1/2” Pea Gravel – $43 per scoop/ton
Also called Natural Stone, Wash Stone, Yellow Stone. Typically used for driveways, septic fields, bedding for large pipes, filter stone, dry wells, concrete slab bedding and residential drainage.
1/2" Grey Stone (#8) – $46 per scoop/ton
Also called #7, Crushed Stone, Driveway Stone, Grey/Blue Stone. Typically used for driveways, septic fields, bedding for large pipes, filter stone, dry wells, concrete slab bedding and residential drainage.

Put simply, saying that wood has been “seasoned” means that it has been left out to dry for a long period of time (6+ months), so the moisture from the tree’s cells and its sap have evaporated from the wood. Firewood is not considered fully seasoned until the moisture content is below 20% using a moisture meter.
